Project Descriptions
Cedar Hollow Rehabilitation Center
Objective: Fellowship with residents
Cedar Hollow is a skilled nursing facility providing short-term rehab, long-term care, and 24-hour skilled nursing support. As a volunteer you will sit and fellowship with residents to provide attention and connection.
The Boys and Girls Club of Sherman (Family Friendly)
Objective: Facility Care & Cleaning
The Boys and Girls Club of Sherman is a youth development organization providing a safe out-of-school hours environment for students ages 5-18. As a volunteer you will serve the B&GC facility through special projects, including facility care and cleaning.
Grand Central Station
Objective: Facility Care, Kitchen Stocking & Cleaning
Grand Central Station is a central relief center providing meals, groceries, hygiene products, and social service advocacy. As a volunteer you will serve special projects in the kitchen, stocking and cleaning.
True Options Pregnancy Care Center (Teen Friendly)
Objective: Stocking and gift baskets
True Options provides free confidential clinical services, education, and material support for families navigating planned or unplanned pregnancies across Grayson Co. As a volunteer you will stock and organize resources.
Fairview Park, Sherman (Family Friendly)
Objective: Playground Care
The Sherman Parks and Recreation department builds, runs, and cares for public green spaces that serve our community, like Fairview Park. As a volunteer you will lay and rake mulch in the playground fall zones.
Peacan Grove West, Sherman (Family Friendly)
Objective: Playground Care
