Summit Men’s Conference 2019

The Victory Life Church Men’s Summit is a two-night retreat created to inspire and encourage men to connect with other men of God and experience Jesus on a more personal level. In today’s fast-paced and hectic world, it is easy for men to get caught up in the busyness of our day-to-day lives. Summit is a retreat designed to help men unplug from what drains us and plug into a life fully alive in Christ. Our prayer is that you will leave Summit equipped with new relationships, new tools and refreshed to pursue your purpose in Christ.

“…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

FAQ:

Is there a minimum age requirement?

The minimum registration age this year is 18 years old. Victory Life Church hosts other events both at the camp and your campus that facilitate father/son experiences. Events like Men of Valor, Momentum Summer Conference, and LifeGroups. If there’s not yet a father/son LifeGroup at your campus, be the first!

Can I purchase tickets at the door/gate/entrance?

To ensure a quality experience for our attendees, we have a firm cutoff date and will not be offering at-the-door admission.

Why am I required to pay the full registration fee even though I am commuting?

Thank you for being willing to commute. This expands our capacity for those who will be coming from hours away. Since the church owns the venue, very little of the registration fees go towards lodging expenses. The majority of the fees go towards providing meals during the event.

How do I register for the event if I don't want to pay online?

Because registration is handled through an online platform. We are unable to accept cash payments. However, we recommend finding a friend that would be willing to use his/her card for you to register. You can then pay him/her back with cash or check.

Am I required to stay at the camp in order to attend the event?

No. There are plenty of lodging options available in the Lake Texoma area or you can commute from home if you are local.

What lodging options are available at the camp?

There is lodging available in the camp cabins with each cabin capable of housing 18 people. Each cabin also has full bathroom/shower facilities. Please bear in mind that cabin space is limited. Additionally, there will be spaces and hookups for RVs. Again, space will be limited. We will also be allowing for any attendees that wish to camp out in tents.

What if I have special lodging needs not covered here?

We are eager for the men attending the retreat to have a life changing experience. Please reach out to Austin Hix: (Click to Email) and let us see how we can serve your need.

For a multi-day event, is my ticket good for either or all days?

The general admission ticket is good for all days. There are no single-day passes or tickets available for this event.

Will the event be streamed?

Because of the location of the event and our desire to create a very specific atmosphere for attendees we will not be able to stream this year’s event.

Will there be physical activities during the retreat?

Yes and of course you have the option to not participate.  If you choose to do so, please make sure you pack appropriate attire.

What should I bring with me if I am staying onsite?
  • Bible & notebook
  • Bedding for a twin size bed (sheets and blanket)
  • Pillow
  • Ear Plugs (in case of snoring)
  • Towel
  • All necessary toiletries including deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc.
  • Casual outdoor clothes and shoes
  • Rain gear
Will food be provided?

Yes, dinner will be provided Thursday and Friday nights. Breakfast will be provided Friday and Saturday mornings. These meals are included in the ticket price. Snacks will not be provided and are up to individual attendee to bring.

Can I bring a cooler to keep food/snacks in?

Of course! However, please see the FAQ below this to see what items are not allowed.

What items am I not allowed to bring into the event?

Alcohol, Tobacco, Marijuana and all non-medicinal drugs are prohibited. But feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks! Lodging does not have refrigerators.

Will there be showers available for those staying on-site?

Yes, there are showers available at the camp.

Are pets allowed?

Only medical/therapy pets.

Will the Camp store be open during the retreat?

No, the store will not be operating during the retreat.

Can I attend the event if I don't attend Victory Life Church?
