On Saturday, April 24th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Heart of a Matter Ministries will be hosting an incredible community event, “A Community IMPACT” will activate Volunteers throughout Grayson County to serve and make a difference in our community.
We invite you to join us on this special day of Park Rejuvenation. We will be cleaning up, repairing, and beautifying several city parks in Grayson County. The goal is to make a lasting memory for our community and highlight what it looks like to come together and serve as one.
Heart of a Matter Ministries believes in building strong collaborative relationships throughout our community. This IMPACT event is something we can all do to make a difference in our community while building relationships with one another.
This event not only benefits city parks throughout Grayson County but the children and families that enjoy them. This community IMPACT event will allow individuals and families to come together to give of their most valued time and energy to positively impact their community.
Immediately following Park Rejuvenation, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. we invite you to join us for an afternoon of Fellowship at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, located at 1120 N Broughton St., Sherman.
**We will post park location & Team assignments as we get closer to the event date, be sure to register for updates!
8:00am – Meet at Centralized location: 4100 N Travis St. for Park assignments and locations. (Bring your gardening tools, work gloves, wheel barrels & shovels!
12:00pm – We will gather at Martin Luther King Memorial Park, 1120 N Broughton St., Sherman for a fellowship picnic!
