Summer Camp Internship Program

The Summer Camp Internship program is for youth students ages 14-18. This is a program that is geared toward spiritual growth and leadership development. Interns will be responsible for a wide range of ministry opportunities such as, altar ministry, servant-style leadership, leading prayer & small groups, and much more. Summer Camp Internship is hosted at Camp Victory and is a mission field. Interns will be ministering to hundreds of kids and youth during Victory Life Summer Camps. This program is for students who have made the commitment to be disciples of Jesus Christ. This program is not easy; however, it is well worth it. At the end of the program, Interns will know how to pray for people, how to work on a team, how to serve like Jesus did, & ultimately take steps on their own for their personal spiritual growth.

Interns will need transportation to and from the camp facilities, any medical and personal needs (including toiletries), bedding for a twin size bed or sleeping bag, a Bible & notebook, sunscreen, bug repellent, work clothes, work gloves, dress code appropriate clothing & swimwear (this is strictly enforced). A detailed packing list & dress code guidelines will be sent to students accepted into program.

There are 2 different types of Summer Camp Interns: Junior Interns (JI) & Resident Interns (RI).

Junior Interns:
Junior Internship is for youth students 14 through 15 years of age. Junior Interns are required to attend our training week and serve both weeks of kids camp. They will also be able to join 1 week of Youth Camp as a camper with the $29 camp registration as their only cost to attend Youth Camp. Junior Interns’ main responsibilities will be during the Kids Camp weeks.

Resident Interns:
Resident Internship is for youth students 16 through 18 years of age. Resident Interns are required to attend training week, 2 weeks of kids camp, & 2 weeks of youth camp. Resident Interns will have varying responsibilities each week of camp.
