Greetings to all,
Psalms 37:23 says; “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in His way.”
I have meditated over this verse for several months. And I believe God has unfolded our next chapter within this ministry by ordering our steps in a new direction within Victory Life Church. Londi and I have been honored to be Resident Pastors at Victory Life Church of Hugo for over 10 years. The church family in Hugo is full of great people that truly love God, love people, and serve both.
Our desire for Hugo has always been to put the people first. Their needs, their growth, and their place within the Kingdom of God. We love our Hugo family and know as leaders we bring the proper direction for the church. Our best interest for Hugo is that growth continues.
Naturally, growth involves change, healthy change, where everyone involved benefits. Londi and I need a healthy change, and we also believe the Hugo location needs a healthy change. With this change Londi and I are stepping down as Resident Pastors in Hugo. We will be moving to Durant, Oklahoma to serve at the Victory Life Church location there. I will be stepping into an Assistant Pastor role focusing on pastoral care, and Londi will be serving as an Assistant to the Executive Pastor of Grow Teams and Next Steps.
Pastor Greg Halley is moving from Durant to Hugo to become the Resident Pastor. We know he and His wife Lori have a great heart and vision for the people of Hugo. We rest assured we are leaving Victory Life Hugo in good hands and look forward to seeing you fulfill all God has for you in the future.
It has been an honor to serve such great people in Hugo. As we move ahead with these changes, we are looking forward to our new roles within Victory Life Church and continuing to serve in the Kingdom of God.
Thank you, Hugo, for all your love, support and friendship that you have given us over the past 10 years! We love you all greatly!
