About Serving at Jubilee

We are excited that you have chosen to serve alongside us to make this Jubilee outstanding. Below is a list of the teams that are available to serve on during Jubilee. Once you have reviewed the teams and determined which teams you would like to serve on please click the “Register Now” link below. This link will allow you to select the days and times as well as the teams you would like to serve on.

Grow Team Central Hosts

This team creates a fun, energized, and welcoming environment for Grow Team Members to relax and feel at home while preparing to go serve. They give out snacks and drinks, help people check- in, give out badges, locker keys and more!

Greeters

This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home. They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement, and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

Ushers

These mighty men/women prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating offering and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

Hosts

This energetic team connects with guests by providing a warm welcome and directional assistance around the facilities.

Parking Lot

This fun and enjoyable team is truly the first impression! If you relish the great outdoors and enjoy telling people where to go, this is the team for you!

Shuttle

This fun and enjoyable team is truly the first impression! If you relish the great outdoors while driving a tram, this is the team for you!

Concessions

This is a team that is dedicated to helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment for people to enjoy their food and drinks.

Set Up/Tear Down

This team will assist various departments by setting up before the event and taking down after the event. This entails loading, unloading, and packing up supplies/equipment.

Online Hosts

As a Jubilee Online Team (JOT) member, you will get to make connections in the chat room, create great dialogue and just show off the love of Jesus to people from all over the world. You don’t have to be a tech guru to get this done.

Photographers/Videographers

This team will be capturing photos and/or video behind the scenes, services, and people enjoying Jubilee. Having some experience shooting photojournalism will help. There’s no guarantee that we will have spare equipment for you to use so, please bring your own equipment, charged and ready to use.

Kids 2-6

This team prepares a fun and safe environment for our Kid’s. Volunteers would need to be 15 or older. Children younger than that would need to serve with a parent.

Volunteer FAQ

What are the Dates and Times of Jubilee?

This year they are Tuesday, June 25th – Friday, June 28th.

7:00 PM for Evening Services
8:30 AM for Women’s Conference
8:30 AM for Leaders Conference

When will Grow Team members need to arrive?

Evenings: 5:15 PM to join the team huddle at 5:20 PM
Doors for Grow Team Members will open at 5:00 PM. Access will be limited to only those scheduled to serve that night.

Mornings: 7:15 AM to join the team huddle at 7:20 AM
Doors for Grow Team Members will open at 7:00 AM. Access will be limited to only those scheduled to serve that morning.

Where will Grow Team Members need to arrive?

You will need to arrive at Grow Team Central for the team huddle and to sign-in. See map for location.

What is Grow Team Central?

*Fun and exciting environment for all team members to check – in and get ministered to prior to serving.
*Place to get prepared to host a party!
*A location for team huddles to take place.
*Lockers will be provided to store personal belongings while serving.

Will there be food options for me?

There will be snacks at Grow Team Central and we will be offering concessions on location at the Choctaw Event Center this year.

Concessions will be available when the doors open at 5:30pm and will remain open through the service. Concessions Menu coming soon.

There will be light concessions (drinks and packaged snacks) for the Women’s and Leaders Conferences.

Will Childcare be Provided?

Jubilee is a Family Friendly Event – Age-appropriate children are welcome to serve alongside you! Must register child(ren) ages 6+ to receive a free t-shirt.

The Choctaw Wellness Center we used for childcare last year is already in use and therefore not available to us this year. We will be caring for children ages 2-6 at the Durant campus instead. Learn more about the childcare for Jubilee at vl.church/jubileekids

What's this about T-shirts?

*Shirts are provided free of charge for all team members who sign up and serve during the event.
*Team members will pick up their shirt the first day they begin serving at Grow Team Central.
*T-Shirt sizes will be collected during the volunteer registration process.
*Children serving with parents must register to receive a t-shirt.

Where do I need to park when I am serving?

There will be reserved parking for team members on the night(s) they serve. See attached map for the location.

Can I reserve seats?

We ask that you only reserve seats on the nights you are serving for yourself and your immediate family only. We want to honor you as a Grow Team Member while still honoring those who are coming out each service time.

Can I enter Grow Team Central every day/night?

No. The Grow Team Central entrance and parking are only available to Grow Team members on the services that they are serving.

Is there a check-in process?

Yes. In Grow Team Central you will check in at the times and days you are serving and receive the badge for the team you are serving on. If you are not scheduled to serve at that specific service you will be asked to wait outside at the main entrance doors. Grow Team Central is for team members serving that night.

Will Grow Team Central be open throughout service?

No. We open Grow Team Central before and after services. During services we keep it closed and secured.

Will I receive training as a Grow Team Member for Jubilee?

Yes. Your team leader will send links of specific training for your team.
