The primary spiritual battleground is the mind. Our thought life is either of the devil or of Jesus, there is no in-between. The tactics of the enemy are: To get you to question your identity, confuse your thoughts, and then when he has your thoughts, he can now control your behavior. The devil has no good in him, has no truths, and he cannot create anything– He can only manipulate lies to sound like truth.
