We tell our children versions of the stories of the Bible that don’t traumatize their little minds because if we made a movie exactly how the Bible describes the stories, it would be rated R.
But hearing all the stories as children, we aren’t typically taught to look at the whole Bible as an entire story that leads to Jesus. A lot of the time, most people look at the Bible as a rule book, but it’s a story book. There are commandments, yes, but the Bible is the story that leads us to Jesus.
Pastor Jacob talks about how our children are receiving the faith passed down to them and we must be careful not to manipulate their minds but allow Jesus to win their hearts.
