In this series, Pastor Duane speaks candidly about the Crisis we are facing in America today. What are we to do in a world where government corruption, immorality, social unrest, racism, and the dangerous ideology of Political Correctness have become the new normal? As Christians, we must have the wisdom to discern the truth from the lies, and the courage to shine a light in this dark world.
- Satan’s M.O. (Gen 2:16-17)
- II Corinthians 11:15-15:
- Deceitful workers transforming themselves into apostles of Christ
- Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light
- His ministers are transformed as ministers of light
- Forms and levels of government:
- God’s government (John 19:10-11; Ro 13:1)
- Self-government (Romans 14:10-13)
- Family government (Gen 2:24-25; 2 The 3:8-16)
- Church government (Acts 20:28; I Tim 3:4-5; He 13:7)
- Civil government (I Pet 2:11-17; I Tim 2:1-4)
Let us pray for our nation and its leaders. No matter how dark it may seem, we find our hope in Christ and His Eternal Kingdom. Listen and be blessed.
AMERICA IN CRISIS – “Political Correctness”
INTRODUCTION
I have been sharing on the subject of our finances. And I believe the Lord has put something on my heart, so I’m going to postpone that series for now. We’ll come back to it, but I want to talk to you specifically about the coming and upcoming election and some of the decisions that we are faced with in this nation. We are facing some serious times. We have to begin to reverse course, or the path that we are on as a nation and as a country is one of demise and destruction and much despair, and so I’m specifically dealing with the issue of political correctness today. I’m going to share some things I promise that you’ve never heard even though maybe you’ve attended church your whole life. I’ve never heard a message on what is “political correctness” and how does it contribute to the destruction of a nation. How come, in my spirit, I know something was wrong when I heard political correctness, but I don’t understand it, and I don’t even know what’s really wrong with it. I’m going to address some of those things. This coming election, for the first time in my lifetime, has really nothing to do with Democrat or Republican. It actually has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, we have fallen so low that it really has nothing to do with right and wrong. It has everything to do with freedom and are we going to take a course of freedom or tyranny and slavery. And that is a major decision that we all have to choose in this hour.
Galatians 5:1
In Galatians Chapter 5 we see Paul here speaking of freedom and I’m reading from God’s Word translation, “Christ has freed us so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom.” We live in a generation that does not understand the benefits of freedom, true freedom. Christ has set us free to enjoy the benefits of freedom. “Therefore, be firm in this freedom and don’t become slaves again.” The NIV translation says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery.” Jesus came to set us free. First in our hearts and deep within our inner man from the tyranny of sin, from the bondage of sin, from the darkness of this present evil world, and so freedom began for you and me in our heart and a relationship with God. But there are benefits now to this freedom. And when someone is made free when they experience the benefits of freedom, they don’t want just freedom even in our individual lives and for selfish gain. They realize the benefits of freedom for all and the power of freedom and being free. We are a blessed nation by God Almighty, and we have forgotten, from whence our blessings have come. In the series on finances, I spent two full days long days searching out the issue of stewardship as it relates to our finances. And the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and reminded me of things He said to me eight years ago that I wasn’t sure I was hearing God. He reminded me of the things He said to me and how that they have come to pass exactly like He said them to me. When the Lord spoke to me eight years ago about the path we were headed down, it was so radical, it was so out of the so-called norm and mainstream, I questioned if I was hearing God. The election of the first black president was so important to so many people that I wanted to be wrong in my heart. I wanted to think well, maybe I missed God, maybe it is wrong to vote for someone based on the color of their skin. I believe if you voted for Barack Obama because he is black, that is the essence of racism. We do not vote on the basis of the color of the skin of the candidate, and yet many people did. I have struggled with policy and politics my whole life and how to balance it out with the Word of God because politics is poisoning every part of our culture today. Everything has become political and politics are spoiling our families, and it’s spoiling our educational system. It is spoiling everything it touches. It’s like cancer, consuming it and spoiling it and, I will be falsely accused even after today of bringing politics to the pulpit, and I’m telling you, and I’m saying it before God Almighty, I despise bringing politics to the pulpit. But if we don’t take the pulpit to our politics we’re going to lose our freedom; we’re going to lose our freedom. If you think you can live your life ignoring politics, you don’t understand the power of government and how a government that is corrupt, and a government out of control, and ever enlarging, increasing leads to tyranny, despotism, and literal slavery. And that’s the path that we’re on.
Psalms 33:12 says blessed is the nation, blessed not cursed, not bigoted, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” A nation that dares to believe in the true, the one true and living God, and not be ashamed of his name, but speaks the name of Jesus with no shame, speaks the name of Jesus with boldness. Blessed is the nation not cursed, not hated around the world, not of bigoted people. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalts a nation…” not celebrating immorality, not embracing immorality, and the lack of values and overriding the conscience of decent good moral people. That’s not what exalts a nation. That’s not what brings freedom to a nation. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any nation. Sin not only defiles and spoils me and brings corruption if I live in personal unrepented sin; sin can destroy a culture. Sin can literally bring a nation down, and we have seen it historically in the Bible and in world history repeatedly. I knew we were in some big-time trouble in that I did hear God on some issues when Barack Hussein Obama took offense at the phrase, “American exceptionalism.” That’s when I knew I had heard God. That’s when I knew we’re in trouble that we have people in power today, we have young people being taught today to hate their country, to hate the Constitution, to hate freedom and liberty. America is exceptional and being an American is a privilege and an honor and a blessing.
American Exceptionalism
• Listen to me and listen to me clearly. It is not RACE or DIVERSITY that makes us exceptional. It is God’s grace and liberty that has made America exceptional! It is not the color of our skin. It’s not the blood that runs through our veins. It’s not the dirt or land we were born on that makes us exceptional. It’s freedom that makes America exceptional, it is freedom and liberty that people from all over the world want to come to America. Again, it has nothing to do with your race. It has nothing to do with diversity. We are not exceptional and American exceptionalism doesn’t mean as an American I am better than anyone else in the world. It doesn’t mean that. It’s never meant that.
• American exceptionalism means that freedom is based on Judeo-Christian principles and values, and a constitutional law reflecting those principles and values. What makes America different, what makes America special, what makes America one of the most prosperous places ever on the planet is a Constitution and the rule of moral law that reflects Judeo-Christian principles and values. What makes us great, what makes us exceptional is we have the freedom to worship the one and the true living God without fear of persecution, prosecution or execution. We have the freedom by biblical moral law, and by our Constitution, freedom of each. We have the liberty, to tell the truth. We have the liberty now in this great country to speak the truth in love without fear of government persecution, government prosecution, and government execution.
• America is the exception. That’s an exception to the rule in biblical history and world history. History is filled with corrupt governments. History is filled with despots and despotism and tyranny and corrupt governments that enslaved the masses. America is the exception to that rule. We are the exception to the rule of history in which we are not a nation that is based on despotism, tyranny, and corrupt, power-hungry oppressive governments or leaders. We are the only nation on the planet that is based on what the Word of God says about what is right and what is wrong, and a Constitution that starts off with, “WE the people.” We, the people that were unheard of for millenniums and yet our founding fathers had the wisdom to create checks and balances and checks and balances within the governmental power and whether these people believe it or not. Young people listen to me; our politicians work for us. We do not work for them. WE, THE PEOPLE, not we the establishment, not we the ruling class, not we the elites. But we the people have a Constitution that is based on Judeo-Christian values and listen to me young people, we have a Constitution that limits the power of government, not feeds, an ever increasing corrupt government. We have a Constitution that declares our liberties. Our freedom comes from God and not man Hallelujah! That’s what makes you exceptional. That’s what makes America an exceptional place.
Let me show you a couple of slides here concerning our hour. Throughout world history, you can find this, without a doubt. All the checks and factfinders at NBC, listen up, the factfinders at CBS, listen up, those that are a part of the big bully media listen up! Where you find the greater freedom, you’ll always find greater wealth. When you find greater government, you’ll always find greater poverty. That is a fact! That is a biblical fact, and that’s a historical fact. Ask the three Hebrew children what it was like to live under tyranny and despotism in a corrupt government, and that mandated law and how they perceived what is right and what is wrong. It wasn’t until the three Hebrew children, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego decided I am not going to bow my knee to the government, I’m not bowing my knee to the elite and corrupt powers that be. I’m going to bow my knee to the true one and living God, and it wasn’t until they had the courage of their convictions and were thrown into the fire that King Nebuchadnezzar saw God. We have to be people that have the courage of our convictions in this hour and do the right thing and not be afraid to say the right thing. When it comes to the economy, this is 100% fact. This is how the economy in the world works, the more you head this way on the chart of government rule of tyranny and slavery than the economy, the percentages go down and down and down, the more you move on this scale toward freedom, the more the economy goes up. Fewer choices lead to less freedom and a lower standard of living. We have a generation of young people, it’s breaking my heart, that are coming up that think everything should be free, that there should be free healthcare, there should be free tuition now. There should be free this and free this and the more a government can give you free stuff, the less free you will be, you will be! Any government that can give you shelter and food and health care and education now can also manipulate with dependency upon them instead of dependence upon the true and living God.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
Let me talk about political correctness. Let me show you how political correctness is the original sin in the garden. I’m going to say some things, again, that most of you have never heard, so I’m going to deal with the shell shock and then we’re going to let it settle. And then I’m going to come back and unpack many of the things that I’m about to say because it’s new to people. It’s new to even good people, godly people, churchgoing people. They don’t understand the deadliness of what is called in our culture now “politically correct” or “political correctness.” What is it? Well, let me tell you what it’s not because we’re told what it is by deceivers and liars within our culture, and we need to know what it’s not before we really understand what it is and the deadliness of it.
IT IS NOT
Let me tell you what it’s not. It’s not civil discourse. People in the name of political correctness say they were just trying to keep the discussion civil. You haven’t met these people. You haven’t disagreed with these people. You haven’t stood up to these people and their ungodliness and in their immorality because you would find out there’s no civil discourse among them when they’re challenged. It is not about being kind and polite. I believe we should be kind and polite but guess what? Kindness and politeness are not a matter of political correctness. Kindness and politeness are a matter of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. The Bible defines what love is, and love is a fruit of the Spirit and in I Corinthians 13, God loved us enough to tell us what love was because He knew we would be confused as we are at this hour and He said here’s what love is. Love is kind and love is patient, so I do believe in kindness, and I do believe in patience. That’s a part of the love of God that has been shed in my heart by the Holy Spirit. But when those of the politically correct crowd talk about being polite, they’re not talking about being polite like what God calls polite. It is not about avoiding offense, tell me about it. These people who promote political correctness within our culture, they have no trouble whatsoever offending God. They have no trouble whatsoever offending good and moral, and decent people of conscience. No, it’s not about avoiding offense. It’s also not about avoiding so-called hate speech. What the politically correct crowd calls hate speech is called the Bible. What they call hate speech is what God has to say about something versus what man has to say about something, so it’s not about hate speech.
IT IS ABOUT
So, what is it about? What is this thing that is called “political correctness” that I cringe in my spirit when I hear it, but have never been taught what it really is? It is censorship is what it is. Political correctness is not about free speech. It’s about censorship, and it’s about shutting down the free speech of some because there are some that when they exercise their so-called free speech it is celebrated within the politically correct crowd, but when I or you or anyone else of moral conscience try to speak up or speak out, we are censored and we are shut down and intimidated. That’s what political correctness is all about. It’s about intimidating those of opposite views. It’s about intimidation. It’s about fear. It’s about intimidating you into silence. It’s about politically or political bullying is what it’s all about. It’s about silencing the truth because dear ones never forget what Jesus taught you. If you’re His disciple, you’ll continue in His Word. You’ll find out what He has to say about life, what He has to say about your home, what He has to say about marriage, what He has to say about your children, what He has to say about your finances. If you continue in my Word, you’ll know the truth and the truth will make you free. Truth always leads to freedom, and we’re not just talking about the truth that’s in the Bible; all truth. Anything that is true will always lead to freedom. And if that’s true, and it is what lies do, what does deception do? It always leads to slavery, it always leads to bondage and being ensnared, so political correctness is about silencing the truth. It’s about hijacking the language in order to deceive and ensnare people. Those in the politically correct crowd are purposely hijacking words, hijacking the language to deceive people and to ensnare them. I have mixed emotions still about healthcare and the positions I tried to take publicly in the assaults that were launched against me by so-called good Christian people. There’s no such thing as the affordable healthcare act. Welcome to political correctness. Welcome to deception. Welcome to lies and that every lie the president told has been found out about by true fact finders that they purposely lied, calling it the affordable healthcare act. You get to keep your doctor, and they knew you wouldn’t. Your premiums are going to go down by $2500. Everybody should have gone, wow, I’m out of here.” Head for the tall grass. These people are lying, and I guarantee there isn’t anybody who’s premium went down $2500. It was all lies. It wasn’t even about healthcare. It was about enslaving the masses. It was about control. It was about power. It was about if I can control your health, I can control you! I get to say what medicine you have or don’t have. I get to say when you die and when you don’t die is political correctness and the evil of political correctness and the poison of hijacking the language and deceiving people. Here is what political correctness is all about. It’s about persecuting eventually. If you won’t shut up, prosecuting, and if you won’t shut up and back down, executing all those who will not bow their knee to the almighty’s centralized corrupt government. That’s what political correctness is all about, and you need to learn to spot it, and you need to learn to avoid it, and flee it and to speak the truth in the midst of it in love. Again, we live in a time that I never dreamed in my lifetime we would see where if you stand up for purity, if you stand up for what is really right according to what God said is right, and it starts with persecution and name-calling. Then it starts with the prosecution. If you don’t think we’re in serious times, the mayor of Houston, Texas subpoenaed the messages of five preachers. The government subpoenaed, the court ordered, “We have to see your outline before you can speak.” Welcome to political correctness. Welcome to slavery. I’m here to tell you here’s my outline. Come and get it Hallelujah! Come and get it! No government has a right to tell me what I can say as an ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ. No one can shut truth down that sets the masses free. We need to be and have the courage of our convictions and the Lordship of Jesus in our hearts and our lives and in our midst to where we’re not ashamed of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, we’re not ashamed of the name of Jesus and truth because the truth will make you free. Hallelujah! The truth will make you free. How did a madman named Adolf Hitler out of Germany storm Europe and execute over six million Jews, execute anyone that was gay, execute anyone that was a gypsy? How did something like that happened and what would we have done? How many of you would’ve gotten up and walked out on me in 1940, if we were in Germany, and I’ma pastor, and I knew what the Bible said, and I knew that this man was dangerous, that this man was ungodly that this man was going to harm the entire world. How many of you would’ve gotten up and walked out on me? How many preachers would’ve been intimidated through political correctness into silence? Because I assure you that if you were a German, and you began to speak against the establishment, if you began to speak against the corruption, if you began to speak out against the direction this man is taking us, you would have been persecuted and then you would’ve been prosecuted, if you didn’t shut up, and you would have been executed with the Jews and the gays and the Gypsies. I’ve wondered would I’ve had the courage of my convictions and spoken the truth in love. In 1840, if I’d been pastoring in Oklahoma in the South would I have had the courage of my convictions and said, “Look, many of you own slaves. It’s wrong. We need to deal with this, and we need to deal with it at the ballot box. We need to check out everybody, and we need to exercise the sanctity of our vote, our ballot and let’s deal with this in a political manner. Let’s deal with this by doing the right thing, saying the right thing.” I wonder how many of you would have gotten up and walked out on me if I had said, “Slavery is wrong. This is ungodly. It’s not right to oppress our fellow man. Even those that are Christians among us we cannot oppress them any longer. We are not owning any slaves in this church, and we are not going to stand for slavery. We are going to put our foot down against racism, and we are going to deal with racism, and we’re going to deal with it in our hearts first. We’re going to deal with it at the ballot box. We are not going to reward by putting in power, those that are racists and believe in something so immoral.” How many of you would’ve walked out on me and how many preachers, how many preachers through political correctness would’ve been silenced during the civil rights movement. How many of you would’ve walked out on me had I been a pastor at that time and said this is wrong. Segregation is wrong! Racism is wrong! Our politicians are wrong. The Democrats, the home of racism is wrong. Gov. George Wallace is a racist and a segregationist. I don’t care if he’s a Democrat. I don’t care what party he affiliates. He and those who support him are racists. How many of you would have stuck with me if I had said Robert Byrd, a senator honored by the Democratic Party for years, who was not only a member of the Ku Klux Klan, but was high up in leadership in the Ku Klux Klan, if I had stood up and said, this is wrong. I don’t care if he is a Democrat. It is wrong. We should not elect people like this. We should not affirm racism at any level or of any kind. How many of you would’ve stuck with me? How many of you would have gotten up and walked out because of the condition of your own heart and how many preachers would have been cowed down because of the intimidation that went on. I have only a handful of heroes in my own generation. I don’t have many heroes. There are not many men I look up to in my own generation, but Dr. Martin Luther King is one of the few that I look up to this day because he was a man that had the courage of his convictions. He was not a perfect man. There are no perfect men. There are no perfect countries. There is no perfect government. There’s no perfect pastor, but he had the courage of his convictions, and he had a dream, and you never hear him quoted in the so-called civil rights movements of today that are demonic at heart. You never hear Dr. Martin Luther King’s quote that said I have a dream that my children will be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Today if you judge anybody on the context or lack thereof of their character, you are called a racist. That’s why you don’t hear Dr. Martin Luther King quoted anymore because he had the courage of his convictions and they were rooted in God. They were rooted in truth. It was a Republican Pres. Lincoln that set the slaves free. That emancipated the black people. It was a Republican Congress that stood up and forced Lyndon Johnson to pass the Civil Rights Bill and let me tell you something; you’ll never hear this young people: Dr. Martin Luther King was a preacher and a Republican. You want to be hated? You want to be called the scum of the earth? Be a preacher and a Republican, and yet you’ll never hear that quoted. Why? Political correctness has a narrative. They have an agenda and it doesn’t have God involved in it. It didn’t have what’s right for all of us in it, and yet today, I have to wonder what would I have done in Nazi Germany. I don’t know. What would I’ve done in 1840, pastoring a church in the South? I don’t know. What would I have done during the civil rights movement if I was a pastor. I don’t know. All I know is who I am now and what I do now. Racism is sin. Racism is evil, and it’s in the heart of man, not the color of man. Racism is taught, and it can be taught to black people, and it can be taught to white people, and don’t you believe the lies that only white people can be racist. There are some white people that are racist and need to be stood up to. There are black people that are racist and need to be stood up to, because God’s morality knows no color. Justice, God’s Justice knows no color. What’s wrong for one is wrong for all. What’s right for one is right for all. We live in a day that is just as serious as some of the other days I have mentioned, and what are we going to do? Are we going to judge the sins of the forefathers and condemn them? Are we going to deal with the sins of our own hearts and the hardness of our own hearts and do the right thing in this hour? We’re facing again challenging times in its political correctness that spoiled the mind of an entire generation. I want to go to Genesis Chapter 3 as quickly as possible here, but there are some Scriptures I’ve given you here. These people were not politically correct. They didn’t understand PC. Jesus call people Snakes and Vipers. I don’t know if you know that. He was tough. And you know He didn’t say hey, your sin is okay, let’s celebrate your sin. No, Jesus said repent, repent, confess your sin, repent, acknowledge your sin, repent, turn in your heart for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. John called them snakes and vipers and said repent, the kingdom of God is at hand and John looked at Pres. Herod and John speaks to Pres. Herod and John says hey it is unlawful for you to have your brother’s wife. You can call that a marriage if you want to, Pres. Herod, but that is not a marriage in the eyes of God. That is not moral and lawful in the eyes of God, and it cost him dearly. When the Supreme Court, five people, five people; I don’t know what kind of country you want to live in. I don’t know what kind of country you think the founding fathers birthed but it wasn’t one where five people can impose immorality on the masses and when those five justices imposed gay marriage on the entire millions and millions and millions within the country, Barack Hussein Obama bathed the White House in the rainbow colors. It’s been one of the few times in my lifetime that I literally cringed with grief in my spirit that I can live in a country founded on Judeo-Christian values and that such an abomination can be imposed upon us by such a few five people and the president celebrates it as a good thing, celebrates it as a God thing! That’s serious! That’s serious and yet we didn’t take it seriously. We don’t understand what we’re facing and the danger of what we’re facing.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IN SCRIPTURE
Acts 4:18-20
I want to go through some Scriptures that deal with political correctness because I wasn’t taught this in church. In Acts 4:18 and 20, the Apostles are preaching the truth. They’re sharing the Word of God. They’re preaching in the name of Jesus and the religious establishment, the religious system that was in bed with corrupt government, the religious system that would not stand up to the corrupt government but embraced corrupt government, forbid them to preach in the name of Jesus. They called the Apostles back in, and they commanded them never again to speak. Don’t you speak or teach in the name of Jesus, but Peter and John replied, do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him? We cannot stop telling about everything,. We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard. Let me tell you something, I’m not going to preach just one small, little bitty segment of the Bible. I’m going to scream from the house top everything God has shown me, everything God has said to me. They would not be intimidated by political correctness. You can’t say that name! That’s offensive to us. That’s offensive to other religions! You can’t say that and don’t think it’s not right in our midst now. Our public-school systems are collapsing, and we can’t figure out why. And yet we took the Ten Commandments out. We took prayer out and now we are taking the name of Jesus out. If you are a valedictorian and you have a speech to share with your class, you are forbidden to mention the name of Jesus. I’m here to tell you, as a country, we should not be ashamed of the name of Jesus. We should celebrate the name of Jesus Hallelujah!
We should praise the name of Jesus, and yet they were forbidden, so then they get in trouble again. Peter and John were arrested and put in public jail because they went out and preached Jesus but an angel of the Lord came by night, opened the gates of the jail, brought them out, listen, and the angel told them here’s what you do. I want you to go to the Temple and give the people a politically correct message. I want you to tone it down. I want you to make sure you don’t offend anybody with the truth. No! You give them the message of what? Life. And the message of life is Jesus, and Him crucified. The message of life is seek ye first the kingdom of God and his kind of righteousness, and all things will be added unto you individually and all things to us as a people. Do not be ashamed of my name.
In verses 28 and 29 in the New Living Translation, it says, “We gave you strict orders.” They called them back in, the politically correct crowd. “We gave you strict orders, never again to teach in this man’s name, he said. Instead, you have failed all of Jerusalem with your teaching about him…” Oh, that we would fill all our public schools with our teaching about Him, fill our government with our teachings about him, fill all of Jerusalem and you want to make us responsible for his death. Who do you think you are trying to hold us accountable as public officials. Today we see people committing crimes and have so much corruption in their heart and for us to believe they should be held accountable to the same standards we are. They despise us. They look down at us from their perches of self-righteousness as if I’m above the law. I’m better than the law. Don’t tell me I’m accountable for anything. A politician should be held to the same standard in a free democracy, in a republic like we have, to the same thing. Whatever would cause you to have to go to jail, they should go to jail if they do the same thing. Peter told the Apostles, and the Apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.”
Ephesians 4:11-14
Look at this in Ephesians 4:11-14, “This our hour” right here, right out of the Bible. God wants us to grow up into him in all things. He wants us to mature to be able to discern things that we are no longer immature like children; we won’t be tossed and blown about by every election cycle. I’m sorry. By every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.” This is the challenge we have today, individually, and corporately as a church in our country, is these lies are so clever. They sound like the truth. It is called political correctness.
II Corinthians 11:13-15
All right, in II Corinthians, and I’m just going to tell you this one. This is where Paul said that people were false apostles and he said it’s no surprise. Listen, he said, Satan comes as an angel of light. Satan doesn’t come in a red suit, pointy ears, pitchfork, and a long tail; even stupid Christians could tell that’s the devil! Amen? Oh, I’m sorry! Even uninformed and very sweet and kind Christians. Is that better? Is that politically correct? Even they would know that’s the devil. How do we get so deceived like most of God’s people are deceived? It’s because the devil comes as an angel of light. He always comes and says, “What I’m doing is love. This is love.” Puff!! Puke! “It’s compassion. Oh, I care so much about these hurting people. I care about their pain.” No, you’re inflicting pain on the masses is what you’re doing and what you intend to do, but it’s always cloaked in compassion, love angel of light.
Isaiah 5:20 and 21
In Isaiah 5:20 and 21 the New Living Translation says, “What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light, and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter,” that call darkness light, that call light darkness, that call bitter sweet and sweet bitter, that call moral immoral, and that call immoral moral. Woe onto those people. Great sadness and pain and sorrow awaits those who cannot discern good from evil, light from dark…” etc., etc. It is the original sin of the garden. Political correctness is the original sin in the garden.
Genesis16 and 17
I submit to you in Genesis 2:16 and 17 God said you can eat off all these trees. A hundred yeses. Yes, you can eat that tree. Yes, you can do this. Aren’t you glad in God there are hundreds of yeses? It’s not all about no, no, no. It was hundreds of yeses and one no. Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die. You’re going to die. Death is going to embrace you if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now, dear ones I’m telling you, I struggled with that on up into my early adult life. What is wrong? What’s so bad. What was so wrong about them eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Doesn’t God want us to know good and evil? Listen to me and listen to me carefully. God was saying that you cannot eat of this tree of knowledge of good and evil. If you disobey me if you become independent of me, you will not know and understand and distinguish and discern good from evil. You can only know good and evil in union with God. You can only know good and evil from God. You have to be taught by God, what is good and evil and man without God doesn’t know. He can’t discern, he can’t distinguish, he can’t separate good from evil. It will lead to death every time.
I remember the first time. I’ll never forget this. The first time I preached, years ago on what got Satan kicked out of heaven. And it just shocked everybody. It was a shell-shock of a five on the scale of an earthquake I cost because people have no idea how Satan got kicked out of heaven and who and what Satan is, and how he is really. Satan didn’t get kicked out because he woke up one day and said, I’m going to be the devil and I’m going to be a good devil, and I am going to steal and kill and destroy and bring pain and death.” Ha, ha, ha! And God said, “You’re out of here!” “No, no, no, no, no, no,” the devil said, “I will exalt my throne above the most high God. I will be like God without God. I know what moral is, don’t tell me what moral is, don’t quote some antiquated, outdated Bible and tell me what moral is and right is. I will be like God. I know what morally is and as a matter fact, my morality is higher than God’s.” God calls fornication sin, an abomination. We call it love. We call it moral.
We bathed the White House in joy in celebration of what a good thing has just happened. What a moral thing has just happened.” When it was an abomination in the eyes of God. Man, if you listen to the average politician today, they believe their righteousness is superior to God’s and don’t you, as the people of God, tell me what is right or wrong. I know what right is and they will call wrong right every time, and they’ll call right wrong every time. They’re eating and feeding on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Look at what Satan said in Genesis Chapter 3 to the woman. “The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman did God really say…?” Did God say? Did God say flee fornication? Oh, common! Sex is fun and good, and let’s celebrate our sexuality in all kinds of different ways. Ha, ha, ha! Did God say, stealing is wrong? Did God say, adultery is wrong? Did God say? Hey, adultery can enhance your marriage now? We need to experiment. Just ungodliness, but it’s always the devil. Did God say? See, he hijacks the language first. “Did God say?” God didn’t say. Did God say you must not eat of the fruit of any of the trees in the garden and the woman starts fumbling around? Of course, we may eat of the fruit from the trees in the garden, the woman replied. The only fruit is the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said you must not eat of it, or even touch it and if you do, you will die. Look what the devil does. Look what political correctness does. The devil in political correctness hijacks the language. Did God say, it’s that really right? Then look at what he said. Verse 4, No, he said you lied. “You won’t die,” so the devil lied. God said this is wrong. No, it isn’t. God said this is sin. No, it isn’t, it’s justice. “You won’t die,” the serpent replied to the woman.” Then look at Verse 5. Listen to it in the Amplified Bible of Genesis 3:5, “For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened. That is, you will have greater awareness, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil.” God knows the day you get away from Him you disobey Him, forsake Him, and His word, you will know the difference between good and evil. And that’s what we hear every single day. This is good and its man’s perspective. Cancer has two perspectives, and both are intimate. The patient has an intimate understanding of cancer, but the patient’s understanding of cancer that’s killing them is one in death and darkness. The doctor has intimate knowledge of cancer but is separated from it, and the doctor knows cancer but sees cancer from the perspective of life and light. Man knows good and evil from the perspective of death and darkness and is confused. God knows good and evil from the perspective of life and light, and He knows what is right, and we have to believe him, not man.
We are so twisted in our culture, and we’re raising a generation that hates their country, that hates freedom, and liberty, that embraces corrupt government, and tyranny, and outright lies. Madeleine Albright, a high-ranking Democrat with Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail said, and I quote, “If you are a woman and you do not vote for Hillary Clinton, hell has a special place for you.” That’s who these people are. That’s the real the real person right there. I’m a preacher, and I haven’t condemned any of you to hell. I’m doing everything I can to get you to miss a devil’s health. God and only God determines who goes to hell and who goes to heaven, not your vote. These people are corrupt to the bone, and we are facing for the first time in my lifetime, the lesser of three evils that I will deal with if you come back, if I survive. We have football players that have no idea the price paid for our freedom, have no idea. They’re spoiled. They’re immature, ungrateful, unthankful, and disrespectful to a country that has given them the opportunity to make multiple millions of dollars playing a stupid game on the weekend and we have people in the media and politicians saying, these men are brave, and they’re heroes. Now we have little boys in Little League football that are disrespecting the flag and dishonoring the dead that have sacrificed their lives and limbs that you and I could be a free people and not be prosecuted or persecuted or executed by a corrupt government. They are not heroes. They are not brave. You are not a hero, and you’re not brave because you put on pads and a jersey and carry a football, dodging linebackers and fire-safeties. You are a hero, and you are brave when you put on armor, and you put on a military uniform, and you carry a rifle into battle, and you dodge bullets, and you dodge swords that will cut your head off if these people aren’t stopped!! That’s whose brave! Amen! You are brave when you stand up to the government not become puppets in their hands. The NFL Commissioner says, “Well, we can’t stop them. We can’t do anything about their free speech. We can stop them in the end zone from free speech of over celebrating. You find them, and you penalize them for taunting the opposing team, yet you let them sit on the sideline and taunt the American citizens, moms, and dads, that have lost their children so you can play a stupid game making millions of dollars while those overseas are barely making minimum wage away from their children, away from their homes, sacrificing their lives and limbs. It is a disgrace and anybody that cannot stand up is a coward in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus. It is wrong. It is wrong to hate your country. It is wrong to disrespect.
I got so emotional in the two services last night that I couldn’t, I just couldn’t finish, hardly. It breaks my heart to disrespect the people that have defended our liberties. I hate war. I’ll be so falsely accused after this message of a hundred things, but one of the tops will be now I’m a warmonger. I hate war. War is horrible. War is a horrible thing and is something we should avoid at nearly all costs. The only cost that cannot be paid to avoid war is our freedom, our freedom to live lives under God. It is right for me to defend my family, never right for me to oppress anybody else. It is right to defend our country. It’s right to have borders. Its right to maintain sovereignty. Where we’re headed is an unaccountable world order. We can even hold local politicians accountable. If we lose our sovereignty, how are we going to hold anybody accountable? We’ll be enslaved. We’ll be imprisoned. The lives and bloodshed to give us the security and to give us the peace and freedom we have right now will be for naught if we stay on this path. I pray that you’ve heard my heart on this and I’m falling apart, and I just can’t believe how political correctness has intimidated preachers all over this country, and they’re scared to death to say half of what I just said. They’re scared to death. They’re scared to death. Welcome to Hitler’s Germany. Welcome to Stalin’s Russia. Welcome to America, and the path we are on. We have to speak the truth in love, and we’re facing an election that how do you even know what the right thing is? I’ll deal with that when Sue and I make it. You’re going to be here baby in Jesus name. Hallelujah.
PRAYER
Father, I thank you, and I ask you to forgive us for our ungratefulness. Forgive us for our unthankfulness. Forgive us for dishonoring those that have paid the ultimate price for us to be free. Forgive us for not having the courage of our convictions. Help us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and never be rude but be bold in this hour, for I believe for such a time as this we were born, and it is our time to do the right thing and say the right thing in Jesus name, Amen.
