Being a disciple of Jesus is like going into the wilderness. The world is under the influence of evil and is trying to teach you to live the same way. You will have relationships that will be testing and you will have “voices” come into your head that will try to get you to question God’s love and care for you, tempting you not to trust Him. Will you know what to do when you hear those voices?
