If we are going to hold anything good in our mind, we have to renew our minds daily. There are so many things that our body does because we have allowed our minds to be influenced by things inferior to the Word of God. There are people around us that we wish we could be like, forgetting that we have what we need when we spend time with God. No one has more than we have available to us by spending time with Him.
Greg Massey serves as Chief Executive Officer, organizing and directing all aspects of the Bank’s purpose, values, and strategic plan, ensuring short and long-term profitability and growth, and aligning the bank, internally and externally, with our vision. Greg began his career with First United in 1990, stepped into the role of President in 1993 and assumed responsibilities as CEO in 2004.
Greg serves as a board member for the Conscious Capitalism organization, the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma State University Foundation and Imagine Durant. He is also an active member of YPO Gold and Victory Life Church. In 2008, Ernst & Young named Greg their Southwest Region Entrepreneur of the Year. Oklahoma State University has also recognized him as a Distinguished Alumni and the Spears School of Business recognized him as Top 100 Graduate and inducted him into the Business School Hall of Fame. He is also a recipient of the Sigma Chi Fraternity Significant Sig award. Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
He and his wife, Kay, have three children – Blake, Brooke, and Corbin. Outside of the bank, Greg is very engaged in extending his business knowledge and experience to his church and the community. He enjoys spending time with his family, which includes attending Oklahoma State football games and OKC Thunder games, and spending time at the lake.
