Even before we loved Him, God loved us. Even in our sin and shortcomings, God loves us. His Steadfast Love for us is based on His character and compelled Him to be with us and give His life for us. He proved His steadfast love for us in sending Jesus into our world. And Jesus brought with him the very presence of God into our brokenness and mess to save us!
