What can we learn from the book of Jonah?
When God calls His Prophet to an assignment, it is expected for the Prophet to hesitate and feel a bit unqualified. This hesitancy is what will cause us to lean into God to accomplish His call. Jonah responded by running the other way and finding himself going lower and lower. God was at work, pointing the way to Jesus all the while and working His call into fruition.
The story of Jonah running from God has some life application for us today and reminds us of God’s mercy, and plan for redemption.
