We were not created to try and focus on multiple things at once, because it’s not possible. Focus can only be singular. Pastor Landon reminds us to keep our focus on the Kingdom and the rest will be added to us. We don’t have to make things happen, God works through our trust, obedience, and focus on Him. Pastor Landon also reminded us that idols aren’t just things that are wrong. He even talks about making his marriage an idol in his life! Marriage is a good thing, but marriage isn’t God. It is certainly created and ordained by God, but God is still to be our focus! Listen to this incredible encouragement to stay focused on the One thing— Jesus.
