Holiness comes with a lot of baggage. It is a word that a lot of people have heard in an abusive and aggressive way. Pastor Jacob talks about being a Holy Priest. This does not mean you act perfectly all the time. If we were capable of always behaving perfectly, Jesus would not have had to go to the cross for us. Rather, holiness is the evidence of the transformative presence and work of Jesus in us. We may not always behave perfectly, but we will not be left unchanged when we have a true friendship with Jesus.
