Silence & Celebration | Austin Hix

Silence isn’t just not talking but engaging in listening. We are in a digital age where silence seems to be non-existent, but God has given us a gift of choice to be silent to listen to His encouragement.

Celebration isn’t just circumstantial, it’s practicing joy. We can be in a place of celebration in our hearts regardless of what is happening in our world. Jesus was accused of being a drunkard because there was a party everywhere He went. He was associated with joy! Unfortunately, a lot of people associate Christians with a scowl on their face instead of a smile. That is not God’s heart.

A great contrast here, but both are very important to know God’s heart.
