There are many dimensions to God’s presence and one of those is Love. We tend to want to love people when it’s convenient or comfortable for us, but God’s love expands beyond our comfort zones. When we think of the word “love” in the context of loving others, it’s important to remember that it doesn’t mean matching a certain emotion of someone else to make them “feel loved”. Yes, we empathize and comfort others as the hands and feet of Christ, but this message is more about how we do not get to decide who deserves love. No one earns the love of Jesus. Everyone is worthy of it because of what Jesus did at the cross. Pastor Jacob shows us from the written Word how we love one another with Jesus’s love.
