Pastor Jacob is passionate about us all being aware of God’s presence, as you can tell if you have been listening to him for very long. Did you know that we are God’s dwelling place? He doesn’t leave and show back up like a fair-weather friend. He is always with us, always desiring to be near to us, and always loving us. Yes, God resists the proud… He doesn’t abandon them. God wants us to represent Him and His character, but we cannot represent someone we do not know. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He offers true friendship for us to get to know Him. Then when we see an opportunity to represent God, we need to be familiar with what He truly wants for the sick, the homeless, and the hurting. He wants them to truly see His transforming love through us, His representation.
