James Brown

James Brown is the current host of “The NFL Today” on CBS, “Inside The NFL” on Showtime and is also a Special Correspondent for CBS News. A three-time Emmy Award-winning network broadcaster, Brown has hosted the Super Bowl a record-breaking ten times.

In 1974, James asked the Lord into his heart after realizing that success by the world’s standards was a pretty empty feeling. James has been a Minister since 2002 and on April 19, 2009, he became an Ordained Minister. In 2009, James’ released his first co-authored book entitled, Role of a Lifetime: Reflections on Faith, Family and Significant Living. He and his wife, Evangelist Dorothy Brown, are on the ministerial staff at Rhema Christian Center Church.

James’ ministry engagements have enabled him to speak at numerous Churches and Men’s Conferences around the country, including leading a Men’s Seminar at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, NC, Pastor Tony Evans’ “No More Excuses” men’s event, and more. He’s appeared on many Christian network TV shows, among them the “700 Club”, and “The Gospel Truth with Andrew Wommack”. In 2019, Brown and Tony Dungy launched “Beyond the Game”, a series focused on highlighting the character and faith of professional athletes and sports executives.
