Jubilee 2018 Speakers

Pastor Greg Mohr

Greg Mohr

Greg Mohr is the Director of Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. He is also a conference speaker and author and served as Senior Pastor of River of Life Church in Decatur, Texas for 24 years. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and has earned a Master’s degree in Leadership from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Greg is married to his best friend, Janice. Together they have four children and eleven grandchildren.

Portrait of Elizabeth

Elizabeth Muren

Elizabeth Muren is the Director of Creative Arts School at Charis Bible college in Woodland Park. She is also the Artistic Director of the Biblical theme park The Holy Land Experience in Orlando.

At 6 years old, Elizabeth felt God call her in a specific way to Israel. This stayed with her through her youth. After meeting her husband Robert, they married and moved to Jerusalem in 1999, where they sought to find creative ways to communicate the Word of God to Israel. Their musical “The Covenant” toured Israel and 12 other countries, and demonstrated how powerful communication of the Word can be through musical productions.

Elizabeth lives in Woodland Park, Colorado with her husband Robert and their four children.

Pastor Whit George

Whit George

Whit has served at Church on the Move for over 20 years in various positions, currently as Lead Pastor, overseeing all areas of ministry and day-to-day operations of the church. For 10 years, he led the Church on the Move Arts team and is widely respected in the church world for his innovative thinking and the unique service experiences he’s helped create.

After leading Church on the Move through a major transition in the way they worship, Whit founded the Seeds church resources site along with the Seeds Conference which hosts 2,500 church leaders from all over the world, refreshing and empowering them with tools for more effective, dynamic ministry.

Whit and his wife Heather have five children: Francis, Lucy, Elliot, Zuzu, and Beatrix. He is a huge Notre Dame football fan.

Pastor Willie George

Willie George

At age 20, Willie George began an outreach with Sunday School buses and quickly learned how to hold the attention of rowdy, unchurched kids. In the decade that followed, his groundbreaking techniques brought him to national prominence as an authority on children’s ministry. In 1982, he created a wildly successful, nationally broadcast kids television program, The Gospel Bill Show.

In spite of his success as a traveling minister, he longed to build a local church where youth and children’s ministries would be showcased. Since 1987, Church on the Move in Tulsa, OK has been a leader in effective ministry for children and teenagers, with outreaches like Dry Gulch USA and Oneighty.

Today, the effectiveness of his vision is revealed in the amazing second-generation leadership team at Church on the Move. The same communicative skills that marked Willie George as a children’s minister have positioned him as the Founding Pastor of one of America’s most innovative churches.

Willie and Deleva George have four children and ten grandchildren.

Pastor Duane Sheriff

Pastor Duane Sheriff

Duane and Sue Sheriff are the senior pastors of Victory Life Church, a multicampus church which is headquartered in Durant, Oklahoma. God mandated them in 1983 to give away all of the teaching messages and resources they produced. At first, this was accomplished by giving away free cassette tapes, but as technology has evolved, millions of Cd’s, DVD’s and MP3 downloads have been added to the free resources given away. DSM (Duane Sheriff Ministries) has been responsible for reaching thousands of people throughout the world and providing them the hope and direction that Jesus gives.

Jubilee FAQ

If I'm coming in from out of town, where should I stay?
There are plenty of Hotels to choose from in Durant and the surrounding areas, however, we have three Hotels with special Jubilee Rates!

The Choctaw Casino and Resort has prices ranging from $109 to $209 per night depending on which room you choose and which day(s) you need it for.

The LaQuinta Inn located in Durant has a special rate of $75 per night for Jubilee!

The Hampton Inn located in Durant has a special rate of $89 per night for Jubilee!

Will there be any merchandise or anything for me to take home?
We will have Pastor Duane’s Book Identity Theft for sale as well as Victory Life Worship’s Debut Album “Love Holds Strong”.

As we get closer to Jubilee we’ll be revealing more items, so stay tuned!

Will the services be streamed online?
All Jubilee 2018 night sessions as well as the Women’s Conference and Leader’s Conference will be streaming live at live.vl.church.

We will also have livestream via Facebook Live and Youtube (Link coming soon).

What restaurants are close by to eat at?
There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, but we will be offering concessions and some food items on location at the Choctaw Event Center this year.

We want to make it possible for each of our grow team members to attend services, so each night concessions will be available when the doors open at 5:30 and will be shut down at 6:55 (5 minutes prior to service). Concessions will open up again after service so you’ll have a chance to refuel after getting your praise on.

Info on concessions times for Women’s & Leader’s Conferences to come.

Who is speaking?
Not all speakers have been revealed as of yet, but you can check out the list of speakers here.
Where are the Women's and Leader's Conferences located?
Both conferences will be held at the Choctaw Event Center.
Do I need to register for the Leader's Conference?
There is no registration required for the Leader’s Conference this year. Also, there is no lunch provided and the sessions end at noon both days.
Will there be any childcare or nursery at Jubilee? UPDATED
UPDATE: We have been able to secure some extra space at the Event Center and will now be providing childcare for ages 0-3 during the Jubilee evening services and the Women’s Conference. However, there is limited availability because of the size of the space. The area will only allow for 145 kids, so this will be on a first come, first serve basis. Checkin opens 30 minutes before service.

We will not be providing any dedicated childcare for ages 4 and up at Jubilee.

Will there be any space for nursing mothers?
Yes. The nursing mother’s area will be located in the NW corner of the concessions area. Due to this location, no video feed will be available but the service will be easily heard.
My kids are young and sometimes noisy. Will I still be welcome to attend?
Absolutely! In fact, we want you to know that we WANT you to come and bring your kids with you. We are ok with noise, we are ok with crying babies. Those sounds are signs of a healthy growing church!
Is it ok to bring items to keep my kids entertained during service?
Yes, feel free to let your kids color, play video games, draw, or even write a novel if they are so inclined. No one will judge you, though you may gather some envious looks from parents who failed to plan ahead 🙂

We recommend bringing headphones and pre-downloading as much content onto your child’s devices ahead of time as possible because we expect the wifi to be in high demand and video streaming will be very difficult.

Will the services be geared towards children?
The services have been planned to take into account the fact that kids will be in the room, but there won’t be specific kid’s programming in the songs or teaching portions of the service. We will, however, have a lot of super fun activities for kids and parents to take part in during the preservice portion each night. Be sure to show up early so you can take part. You’ll have a blast we promise!
How do I find my child if they are lost in the Event Center?
If your child gets lost during Jubilee, go to the security office located in the North West corner of the Event Center Foyer. This is where your child will be if they have already been found. If your child has not already been found, the security dispatcher will alert the entire security team to search for your child.

Our security team takes every reasonable precaution to make Jubilee as safe as possible. However, Jubilee is a public event, and anyone can walk in off the street. Please keep a close eye on your children. Do not let them run around unattended or go to the bathroom alone at the Event Center. If an adult is walking out of the Event Center with a child in their arms, our security team has no way of knowing if that child belongs to that adult.

As an added precaution, we will have free wristbands available that you can write your name and cell phone number on. If you are interested in getting a wristband for your child, head to the Lost and Found table in front of the security office.
