Jubilee

Jubilee is a homecoming for our church family, a spiritual refreshing for many church leaders, and a significant celebration for the masses. Through four nights of powerful worship and insightful messages, Jubilee is a time to center our hearts and minds on what God is speaking to each of us.

This year we are bringing attention to what God’s up to in the Capital “C” Church. We can’t wait to share some of the stories and celebrate with you what God’s doing in your life as well. Looking forward to seeing you this year!

Women’s Conference

The Women’s Conference at Jubilee is a time for women to gather together as family, from different campuses, churches and communities, to love and encourage one another. This is a time to give thanks for all God is doing and look forward to all that He has for us in the future.

This is a one-day conference, Wednesday June 26th. Doors open at 8am with preservice starting at 8:30am. This year’s speaker is Dorothy Brown – scroll up for her bio.

There will be no childcare available for Women’s Conference, but children are welcome!

Leaders Conference

We host our annual Leaders Conference during Jubilee. This two-day conference consists of multiple sessions from top leadership of Victory Life Church and other prominent churches, designed to help equip and encourage leaders.

At this year’s Jubilee Leaders Conference, we will be having a conversation around the concept of “team.”  God said that it was not good for humanity to be or work alone from the very beginning. Moses’ father-in-law gave him advice to share the load of leadership with others. Too many leaders try to do too much within their own strength. We will never be able to accomplish alone what can only be successfully completed by a team that is synergistically in rhythm with each other.

We truly believe every leader will be challenged and encouraged by this needed conversation!

Doors open at 8am, with the morning sessions beginning at 8:30am each day.

Will there be any merchandise or anything for me to take home?

Will the services be streamed online?
All Jubilee 2019 night sessions as well as the Women’s Conference and Leaders Conference will be streaming live at live.vl.church.

We will also have livestream via Facebook Live and Youtube.

How loud will Worship be?
Please note that the worship portions of this event are at concert volume levels, not a typical weekend service volume. You may wish to bring ear protection for those with sensitive ears, including your little ones.
What restaurants are close by to eat at?
There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, but we will be offering concessions on location at the Choctaw Event Center this year.

Concessions will be available when the doors open at 5:30pm and will remain open through the service. Concessions Menu coming soon.

There will be light concessions (drinks and packaged snacks) for the Women’s and Leaders Conferences.

Where are the Women's and Leaders Conferences located?
Both conferences will be held at the Choctaw Event Center.
Do I need to register for the Women's or Leaders Conference?
There is no registration required for either the Women’s or Leaders Conference.
Will there be any childcare or nursery at Jubilee?
Unfortunately, no. The Choctaw Wellness Center we used for childcare last year is already in use and therefore not available to us this year. We will be caring for children ages 2-6 at the Durant campus instead. Learn more about the childcare for Jubilee at vl.church/jubileekids
Will there be any space for nursing mothers?
Yes. The nursing mother’s area will be located in one of the rooms to the side of the main entrance. There will be a sign indicating which room is for nursing mothers.
My kids are young and sometimes noisy. Will I still be welcome to attend?
Absolutely! In fact, we want you to know that we WANT you to come and bring your kids with you. We are ok with noise, we are ok with crying babies. Those sounds are signs of a healthy growing church!
Is it ok to bring items to keep my kids entertained during service?
Yes, feel free to let your kids color, play video games, draw, or even write a novel if they are so inclined. No one will judge you, though you may gather some envious looks from parents who failed to plan ahead 🙂 We recommend bringing headphones and pre-downloading as much content onto your child’s device ahead of time as possible because we expect the wifi to be in high demand and video streaming will be very difficult.
Will the services be geared towards children?
The services have been planned to take into account the fact that kids will be in the room, but there won’t be specific kid’s programming in the songs or teaching portions of the service. We will, however, have a lot of super fun activities for kids and parents to take part in during the preservice portion each night. Be sure to show up early so you can take part. You’ll have a blast, we promise!

Please note that the worship portions of this event are at concert volume levels, not a typical weekend service volume. You may wish to bring ear protection for your little ones.

How do I find my child if they are lost in the Event Center?
If your child gets lost during Jubilee, go to the security office located in the North West corner of the Event Center Foyer. This is where your child will be if they have already been found. If your child has not already been found, the security dispatcher will alert the entire security team to search for your child.

Note: Our security team takes every reasonable precaution to make Jubilee as safe as possible. However, Jubilee is a public event, and anyone can walk in off the street. Please keep a close eye on your children. Do not let them run around unattended or go to the bathroom alone at the Event Center.
