What is a Group?
Leading a Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. It’s simple — choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your group successful through Leadership Training and a directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily. We believe people’s lives are changed by moving one step at a time toward Christ, and as a Group leader you get to be a part of that.

A Group is made up of people who share similar interests, are in the same stage of life, or want to learn from each other. People gather for all sorts of reasons whether it is playing a sport, spending time at the park, having lunch during the workday, or studying the Bible together. The point is not so much what you meet about, but that you are regularly meeting with people and living in a community as God designed you to do.
Why Groups Exist.
Groups have one, simple purpose—to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us. Meaningful relationships can be hard to find, and that’s why small groups exist — to make life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
It is through life together that our problems become smaller and God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives. Even when you might not realize you need it, your small group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but care about what is happening in your life and want to support you in your spiritual journey.
When and Where?
Groups meet throughout the year in three semesters. Winter/Spring, Summer, and Fall. New groups start each semester making it easy for you to get involved at any time. Groups meet in a variety of places like homes, parks, restaurants, coffee shops, and office buildings.
